Park District Room Rentals
Are you looking for the perfect space for your next meeting or special event? The Park District offers a variety of facility and park rentals to accomodate both large and small gatherings! It is the intent of Memorial Park District to make its facilities and parks available to the public on a fair and equitable basis. The following rules and regulations will outline the necessary steps.

Meeting Room Rules and Regulations:
It is understood that your organization will comply with the laws of the State of Illinois and Memorial Park District regulating the use of park building and property:
- You may decorate the room. Glue, staples, and nails are not allowed
- The Memorial Park District does not provide decorations
- Be responsible for any damages to the building, grounds, or equipment
- Be responsible for and shall assume liability for all persons participating in your organizations activity and for all persons in attendance thereof
- No alcoholic beverages shall be served on the premises
- No amplified music
- Smoking or use of illegal drugs in the gym area is not permitted
- Fighting or abusive language is not allowed
- Street shoes are not allowed to be worn on the gym floor during play, only gym shoes. Shirt must be worn
- No one shall be allowed to charge a fee or accept money donations or gifts to enter any part of the park/pool, without written permission from the Board of Commissioners
- No one shall be allowed to sell food or beverages, unless Director of Memorial Park District with approval of Board of Commissioners approves it
- The last 1/2 hour of the event is allocated for clean up. Tablecloths and decorations are to be removed and placed in garbage in the containers provided. Kitchen counters and tables are to be wiped clean and left in the same conditions found. Noticeable floor debris should be swept
- You must vacate the premises at the hours designated on the application. There will be a charge of $35 per every 30 minutes past your contractual time
- The permit holder must be present at the event
- It is the permit holders responsibility at the end of the event to ensure that all minors and young adults have a safe and dependable ride home
- Room rentals require a minimum of 3 business day notice before event
- $25.00 Cancellations Fee - Cancellations must be made 72 hours before event
If any violation of the contract occurs, the event will be closed down by the Security Department and all fees will be forfeited.
Crochet 101
Join us for some socialization and Crochet! Bring an I or J crochet hook and a light colored #4 yarn. No prior registration required. Walk-Ins welcomed!

Come out and find your treasures or make some cash. The Park District will advertise the sale through electronic signage, flyers, and day of signage.
Includes an 8’ table & 10’ x 10’ space.

Easter Egg Scramble
The Easter Bunny will toss out candy and prize-filled eggs early in the morning for little boys and girls.
- Each hunt will be divided into age groups.
- Easter bags are provided.
- Check your eggs on site to receive special prizes!

10th Annual Tree Lighting Festival
Come make an outdoor tree ornaments and bring your camera to take a photo with SANTA and a special holiday friend!

Dontage to our local food pantry. Bring once canned food per child.
Play indoor games and enjoy dinner, hot beverages and cookies!
